Job description
As an Associate Consultant at Aven Consulting Group, you will support client engagements, internal projects, and strategic initiatives through in-depth research, data analysis, and collaborative execution. This role is ideal for a highly capable analyst or early-career consultant with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently with light supervision.
You will be responsible for delivering analytical support, contributing to project deliverables, and helping senior team members prepare proposals and client-facing materials. While client interaction may occur, this position is primarily office-based, with a strong emphasis on quality, timeliness, and team collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver accurate, timely, and well-structured analysis and documentation to support consulting projects
Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met and workflows are aligned with client objectives
Conduct targeted research, financial modeling, and market analysis as assigned by senior consultants
Contribute to internal knowledge building, proposal development, and business development efforts
Participate in select client meetings and calls, offering support on research, preparation, and documentation
Respond to data requests and client inquiries within scope, escalating to senior staff when necessary
Maintain organized records of research, communications, and deliverables to support continuity and accountability
Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and a commitment to quality in all aspects of the role
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
2+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting, financial services, or a business advisory role
Strong understanding of standard tools, methodologies, and frameworks used in business analysis and client service delivery
Ability to identify and apply the appropriate techniques and processes to meet client needs and project objectives
Comfortable working independently on defined tasks while collaborating effectively within a team structure
Demonstrates awareness of client business models and can draw connections across similar industries and market dynamics
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
